I had a short window of time today for a quick hike, and it was pretty astonishing that maybe 5 minutes into hiking up the cliff to look for bighorn again -- I came across this impressive fella. ... I had a short window of time today for a quick hike, and it was pretty astonishing that maybe 5 minutes into hiking up the cliff to look for bighorn again -- I came across this impressive fella. He was a little nervous and stayed put almost the entire time. He kept looking away from me, and then I realized that there was a pair of rock climbers nearby coincidentally. This wasn't a trail, it was just a random part of the canyon. I kept the photoshoot brief since he was nervous and I didn't have much time anyway. As I hiked back down, he took the opportunity to head out another direction. Gorgeous animal and pretty surprising that I walked ~40 feet right below him by total luck.
