We spotted this young female crossing the St. Vrain in Indian Peaks Wilderness. It was a brief encounter since we had a long way to go that day and she seemed like she'd rather just wander off into the woods. I call her "Little Belle" as a play on words because her "bell" (the flap of skin hanging from a moose's neck) was so small. Always fun to see these great creatures out in the wilderness.
