I set out to find the bighorn again, but unfortunately I didn't find them. Steep canyons and cold weather made for a challenging approach. I'll head back up in a week or so from a different start... I set out to find the bighorn again, but unfortunately I didn't find them. Steep canyons and cold weather made for a challenging approach. I'll head back up in a week or so from a different starting point that may yield better results. Later in the day, I went elsewhere and squeezed in a short second hike in Golden. There were several nice birds of prey, and I believe this one is a Northern Harrier. Not the best pics, but good for practice.
