Gorgeous spring day out in Rocky Mountain National Park and nearby national forest today. It was great to see all the animals out and about. The highlight was the moose, of course, but the birds were also really fun since they approached pretty closely and the light pretty decent. I didn’t take time to capture them all, but tons of deer, lots of elk as well as chipmunks, squirrels, birds and more. The moose was tagged #1157, and she seems like a “Willow” to me – hopefully I see her again. She was a little clumsy, but calm and relaxed on the other side of the creek.
