Quick catch-up with a few recent pics while out watching the herd of bighorn sheep. The herd was spooked by other person on one of the days while I was out there, and they ran up to an area where I was seated. Thankfully, they weren't spooked by me and they all actually sat down near me. Many of them, including the largest ram, fell asleep just a few feet away (but those photos are a little boring looking). On another day, the snow was fresh and I hadn't seen the herd since my trip to New Mexico during the polar vortex cold-snap. I was curious if the herd was ok after that hard freeze, but I only saw a half-dozen or so on the quick trip. Bonus pygmy nuthatch that landed right by me while photo'ing the bighorn.
