Awesome day out at Colorado National Monument. I was fortunate to get some nice morning light and an extended quiet period with the same herd that I spotted the prior evening. After a round of shots with them, I went out on a hike where I thought they might drift. There were lots of birds out and about, and a couple canyon wrens stopped by me for long enough for a couple close shots. I didn't see the herd at all until just before I got back to the car -- and there they were again, so I got a round 2 with them. The old male was making sure everyone knew who was boss, and all the others just grazed and got out of his way. Fun group to watch and photo.
