This was one of the most unique and closest encounters that I've ever had with a moose. I sat with him for 2.5 hours and laughed at myself after realizing that I took 433 images. It began when I returned home to find this large, but young, male was resting in my yard. After establishing a bit of a relationship and determining that he was comfortable with me, we started the photo shoot. He was so calm and relaxed the entire time. After a couple hours he finally stood up and gave a good stretch. He then started snacking on my aspens and I needed to get on about my day, so I said my good-byes and went inside. I was blown away when I looked at these images in large format -- my favorite getting the namesake "house sitter".
