Gorgeous morning out at Brainard Lake today. No big wildlife today, but it was fun to watch the ducks banter back and forth. The ring-necked males seemed like they were courting the females and all of them were very chatty out on the water. On a second short hike a little further south, I was told that I just missed four moose -- so perhaps that's where I explore tomorrow if the weather coopoerates.
